Kutsut.. Päänraapimista ja tuskailua. Päässä se miljoona toinen toistaan hienompaa ideaa. Tein täsmäiskun Sinelliin ja onnistuin viettämään siellä lähes tunnin mm. vertailemassa kahden erilaisen kartonkipohjan eroja, hipelöiden satiininauhoja, tuijottaen leimasimia, ääriviivatarroja jne jne. Lopulta mukaan lähti säkillinen erilaista materiaalia, sillä onhan ne koekappaleet tehtävä, jotta näkee käytännössä mikä on hyvä. Parin päivän näpertelyn jälkeen oli valmiina yhdeksän erilaista koekappaletta (!). Ja lopulta sieltä löytyi myöskin se lopullinen versio. Sulhasen kommentti kutsukorttiin oli: synkkä ja jouluinen.. Sitä en sitten tiedä miten hääkutsu voi olla noita molempia yhtä aikaa.. :D
Lopuksi kurkistus kutsujen värimaailmaan, lopullinen valmis kutsu paljastetaan kun ne ovat lähteneet kohti vastaanottajia.

Invitation test drive
Invites.. Lots of head scratching and sighing. Head spinning with millions of different ideas, all better than another. I found myself in Sinelli, a crafts store close to my home, comparing papers and cartboards for the invites, satin ribbons, stamps, stickers etc etc. In the end i left with a bag full of materials, beause of course i needed to make test versions to see what type of an invite would be the best. After a few days i had finished nine (!) different invites. Amongst them, i found the one i want to use. The groom's comment to the selected invite was: gloomy and Christmasy.. What i don't know is how a wedding invite can be both of those things simultaneously.. :D
Here is also a sneek peek at the color scheme of the invitations. The final result will be revealed after the invitations have been sent out.
