Suosituin kysymys, mikä tälle morsiamelle kohdistetaan, tuntuu olevan "missä?". Ajattelin seuraavaksi valottaa hieman seremonia- ja vastaanottopaikkoja. Hääseremonian tapahtumapaikka on Kalithea Spa, joka on häikäisevän kaunis alue kokonaisuudessaankin. Itse seremonia tapahtuu kuitenkin ns rotundan alueella, joka on pyöreän mallinen osittain katettu alue.
Tuonne siis laitetaan vieraille istumapaikat, ja pari luonnollisesti lupaa heidän edessään viettää loppuelämänsä yhdessä. Koristeluja laitamme hyvin vaatimattomasti, sillä paikka on itsessän jo niin upea, ettei se paljoa koristeluja kaipaa.
Vastaanotto taas oli hieman kinkkisempi juttu. Mietimme päämme puhki eri vaihtoehtoja, aina Rodoksen vanhan kaupungin ravintoloista Lindoksen rantaravintoloihin. Lopulta päädyimme valitsemaan Kalithea Horizon Royal -hotellin juhlapaikaksemme. Tulemme myös yöpymään tässä hotellissa lomamme ensimmäisen viikon ajan. Matkamme varasimme Finnmatkoilta. Paikkavalinnan ratkaisi osaltaan se, että tämä All Inclusive hotelli ei veloita yöpyviltä vierailtaan erillistä maksua hääateriasta. Tässä säästimme pitkän pennin, sillä onhan häissä yksi suurimmista kustannuseristä juurikin ruoka ja juoma.
Tässä hotellissa myös kaikki kuvassa näkyvät koristelut saadaan hotellin puolesta, joten jälleen saamme säästöä, kun koristeluihin ei tarvitse satsata niin paljoa. Tokihan joitain yksityiskohtia on lisättävä, jotta saamme paikasta ns. itsemme näköinen. ;)

Location is everything!
The most popular question that this bride gets asked is "where?". So i thought i'd give out some information about the "where" part of the whole thing. The ceremony will take Place in Kallithea Spa, which is all together a stunning location. The ceremony itself will take Place at the rotunda area of the Spa (See picture above). There will be sats for the guests, and the happy couple will promise to spend their lives together in front of the guests. Decoration will be quite minimal, because the location in itself, is beautiful, and doesn't really need much else.
The reception location was a bit trickier. We concidered different options from the Rhodes Old Town, to the beach reastaurants in Lindos. But in the end, it was easy to choose Kalithea Horizon Royal Hotel (See second picture above). We will also be staying at this hotel for the first half of our holiday. We booked the trip via Finnmatkat. One reason for choosing this location is that they do not charge extra for a wedding reception, if the guests are staying at the hotel. This was a big save for us, since the food and drinks are a big expense when putting together a wedding.
Also, all the decorations that you can see on the picture of the venue, is included, so again, we are saving money for not having to put that much effort into decorations. Of course, it needs a few details, so we can really make the venue "ours". ;)
